Private Medical Information

Introduction

BNet Solutions is not a healthcare provider or directly involved with the medical trade or profession in any capacity. However, as a software company, BNet Solutions has, and may continue to, development software that can interact and communicate with medical devices or the supporting infrastructure of medical devices. During this interaction, certain medical information may be received and processed by our software and servers. While it is not the intent of BNet Solutions to retain your medical information, the same may be recorded, saved and archived in logs generated in the normal course of our software operation and processing.

Use Private Medical Information

By using a BNet Solutions product that, once configured, grants our software access to your medical information, you are fully and unequivocally waving BNet Solutions from any legal prohibition to the collection and use of your personal information, including any articulated in the federal HIPPA Standards for Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information (45 C.F.R. Section 164.508), and hereby specifically authorize BNet Solutions to store and use same.

You further understand that the information described above may be redisclosed by BNet Solutions and that you hereby give BNet Solutions and its contract representatives permission to share your information with necessary third-parties, and that your information would or may no longer be protected by the federal privacy regulations. Therefore, you release BNet Solutions, its workforce members, and its contract representatives from all liability arising from the authorized disclosure of your health information pursuant to this agreement. You understand that you may inspect, or request copies of any information disclosed by this authorization if BNet Solutions or its contract representatives initiated this request for disclosure. You understand that you may revoke this authorization by notifying BNet Solutions, in writing, knowing that previously disclosed information would not be subject to your revocation request. You understand and acknowledge that if you revoke this authorization, the product(s) purchased from BNet Solutions may not function as designed.

Changes to Policy and HIPPA Waiver

This Policy and Waiver was last updated on January 18^th, 2020. If this Policy is revised, the most current policy will be posted on this site. Please check back periodically, and especially before you provide any personally identifiable information.
